A short visual created for Melbourne based DJ TIDE’s EP Medication Time. Created during the COVID 19 Lockdown, it will be edited for use in DJ sets when live performance’s are back on. Album art was also designed by me, you can check out some process images down below.
Concept thumbnails created based off the concepts TIDE was playing around with in the initial brief. He asked for something “dark, psychedelic and explosive” which is a super fun brief to work with. The concept he went with (number 3) was also my favourite. Love it when that happens!
So then came a bit more refinement, playing around with different colour palettes and fonts, and varying the composition a bit. TIDE felt like the second composition was the strongest, and so we refined that one (by the way, those boxes are his logo)
And the final art! This was a super cool project to work on, would love to have the opportunity to do more album art in the future.
